AFCAT 01/2023 Eligibility Criteria 2023

All the interested candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for AFCAT 1 Recruitment 2023.

  1. All the candidates must be a citizen of India.
  2. The candidates who are applying for the Flying Branch must not be younger than 20 years and must not be older than 24 years. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 26 years for those aspirants holding a valid Commercial Pilot License.
  3. The aspirants applying for the Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) should be of 20 to 26 years age.
  4. All the candidates applying for Ground Duty Technical posts must have studied Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level and secured at least 50% or more marks. They should hold a four year integrated degree or a postgraduate degree in engineering.
  5. The aspirants applying for Ground Duty Non-Technical posts must possess a graduate degree with 60% or more marks.

It is advised that all the aspirants go through the official notification thoroughly before applying for the post.

AFCAT 01/2023 Exam Pattern 2023

  • The AFCAT exam will be conducted in three stages and the candidates are required to clear the first two stages in order to secure a seat in the final merit list and to proceed to the final stage.
  • The first stage is the written examination which will be conducted in February 2023 and the topics for that exam are given below.
  • The next stage is the AFSB interview which is extremely tough to crack. The interview will last for 5 days and it will judge your personality, character and your military aptitude.
